Underlay is essential for the protection of your new carpet. The soft material installed underneath the carpet helps in many ways, from protecting the carpet from wear, softening noise between floors and providing an additional layer of softness underfoot.

Flooring Xtra uses the highest quality and exclusive underlay, Dunlop EnviroTred. This product is manufactured using 90% recycled materials and is 100% recyclable. Thermal resistance is a measure of a material’s ability to resist heat transfer. The higher the R-value, the better heat transfer resistance of that material.
