The Studio With Shaynna Blaze
Housing two creative businesses, this refurbished Victorian building is given new life while allowing the history to remain present. The successful merging of old and new is no surprise, given the brains behind the space and the client is the same person, creative powerhouse Shaynna Blaze. Flooring Xtra was more than happy to assist with the flooring on this beautiful project and hear Shaynna’s thoughts on the design process.
Coastal Charm/ Satara’s Dreamy Weekender
Walking up the unassuming, Tea Tree lined driveway on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, visitors are greeted with birdsong and the sounds of distance surf roaring. Once through the front doors, you’re transported to the Mediterranean, with breezy, open spaces layered with earthy tones and tasteful finishing touches. It’s a beautiful haven away from the everyday bustle of city life.
Worker’s Cottage Project
With designer James Treble on hand, this Sydney worker’s cottage underwent its most transformative renovation yet- rectifying years of patchwork flooring repair. The uneven surfaces and trip hazards have caused owners Toby and Renee grief for years and Flooring Xtra were ready to help create a seamless new flooring solution.

On the sunny Central Coast of NSW, much of the residential landscape is changing (goodbye fishing cottage, hello new development!), there is one family who was driven to build their home to respectfully sit within the historical built environment. To reflect the past stories of the town and its buildings, while bringing modern elements to the construction and style to suit their young family perfectly.
